Projects

Mark has been an on going consultant to Adobe Systems for the last few years, working as a liaison to print service providers. He is working with prepress managers across the US, making them aware of the various resources Adobe has to offer, such as on-line e-Seminars, TechTalks, Co-host sponsored programs and the numerous support resources available from the Adobe web site. The goal is to resolve issues that print service providers may have, before the final output of files from Adobe's print based applications including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat

Bay InDesign User Group

Mark is the Chapter Representative for the San Francisco/San Jose area InDesign User Group (Bay IDUG), one of many IDUGs across the US, and the San Francisco Acrobat Users Group. Meetings are on alternating months with industry gurus speaking about the application and related issues, processes, tips & tricks. The InDesign meetings are on odd numbered months and the Acrobat meetings are on even numbered months. Take a look at the websites and find a wealth of knowledge just waiting to help you get your work done more efficiently.

Mark has performed technical product demos across the U.S. for Enfocus Software, most recently at a Printing Industry of Minnesota's TechFest. He has demonstrated how the Enfocus Certified PDF workflow addresses 3 fundamental issues of exchanging PDF: Guaranteed successful preflighting, Consistency between the PDF and the source document, and an historical line of Responsibility. These elements enhance the reliability and predictability of PDF and allows you to create, exchange and edit PDF files with complete confidence. Enfocus Software produces some of the most widely used Acrobat plug-in software for the creation of PDF along with interactive and automated PDF preflighting and editing.
